Links To Climate Change Skeptics
- Friends Of Science – Friends of Science is a non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers comprised mainly of active and retired earth and atmospheric scientists, engineers, and other professionals. Their goal is to educate the public about climate science and through them bring pressure to bear on governments to engage in public debates on the scientific merits of the hypothesis of human induced global warming and the various policies that intend to address the issue. They are of the opinion that the Sun is the main direct and indirect driver of climate change.
- ICECAP – Dr Joseph D’Aleo’s impressive site – he was the first Director of Meteorology at the cable TV Weather Channel. ICECAP, International Climate and Environmental Change Assessment Project, is the portal to all things climate for elected officials and staffers, journalists, scientists, educators and the public.
- International Climate Science Coalition – “Climate For Laypeople” – ICSC is an international association of scientists, economists and energy and policy experts working to promote better public understanding of climate change science and policy worldwide. ICSC is committed to providing a highly credible alternative to the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) thereby fostering a more rational, open discussion about climate issues.
- CO2 Science – Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change - The center/website was created to disseminate factual reports and sound commentary on new developments in the world-wide scientific quest to determine the climatic and biological consequences of the ongoing rise in the air’s CO2.
- Wikipedia – Global Warming Controversy – A balanced overview of many aspects of the controversy – both pro and con.
- Roger Pielke Sr. – Roger’s blog on climate change issues. Roger is a Senior Research Scientist, Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), University of Colorado in Boulder and Professor Emeritus of the Department of Atmospheric Science, Colorado State University, Fort Collins
- Tom J. Nelson – Tom’s “Cold Facts On Global Warming” is a concise summation of the science related to CO2′s role in climate change. Roger is an informed electrical engineer who actively follows and writes about what’s happening in the world of climate science.
- John Brignell – John’s very sharp cut at climate fanaticism being akin to a new religion. John runs a web site called at Number Watch which deals with wrong numbers in the media and politics. John is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Electronics and Computer Science at University of Southampton in the U.K.
- Rocket Scientist’s Journal – A rich source of skeptical arguments by Jeffrey A. Glassman, PhD
- Watts Up With That - News and commentary on puzzling things in life, nature, science, weather, climate change, technology, and recent news by meteorologist Anthony Watts. A 2008 weblog awards winner for best science blog.
